3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsYeah, we don't want to layer everything over everything... That would be too "busy". I'm restricting the guitar parts specifically to the breakdown/outro, otherwise it sounds WAY too messy. I'm sure Sin would agree.... Good luck dudes!

Yea, I have to lay the strings in and piano (maybe changed to another instrument). With that, it may be too busy to have a solo over the top during the main part. We can do a solo in the breakdown, possibly intro, and definitely outro. I also was thinking of adding some violin trills in the breakdown and outro. Anyways, we'll restrict guitar parts to that. Rhythm guitar may be useful in the main part, but we'll have to see. Nice job Joel with everything. I'll try and put my parts over it tomorrow,
~Andrew
Like I said, those were one-take drums... I have some ideas, but wanted to give people a template to go from. As soon as I get the other parts, I'll redo the drums to fit accordingly.... Can't wait to hear everyone's contribution!

LULULU
Alright I'm just about to get started on my outro solo.
I'll include a seperate solo in the intro and send both of them to Sin so he can decide what goes where.
It's been a busy weekend That's why i'm starting it so late. I was expecting to get it done earlier.
I'll check back in a few hours.
i have what im doing down to a fucking science... just had work all weekend and got like three hours of sleep... so its gonna be up by atleast midnight.
Can't wait to hear your parts. I also hope we can use all of it. Only time will tell, right?

Ha!
Nice job in this one Joel. I definitely want to see if we can make the transition a bit better on the drums, but it looks like you have touchups on your mind for later anyways.
So, for the guitars, I think the first to bars should be guitarless. Then throw in the sick riff you've got. Also, I second what Joel had to say in the review. I'll have to add my part tomorrow, papers and whatnot out the wazzoo tonight. Also, when the sick drums come in, I want you to go craaaaaazy with some awesome riffs. And two guitars (rhythm/solo) would be frickin' lovely at that point. I was considering putting the violin trills in that sectin to make it eerie.
Also, I'm gonna try adding in some ambient strings (definitely not too busy) to give it some eerie ness.
Well, great job so far everyone. I'm off to bed. Peace.

Alright then, if You'd like, take out the first two bars in the intro that I have, it would only make the intro better in my opinion

Wait, this isn't the final edit?
:And two guitars (rhythm/solo)
Wait, who's who? I thought I was the solo guitar...
Lets get this thing going... and where is everyone?

I'll see if I can add my part tonight (probably post it around 10-11pm est if I get to it). I'm sorry I'm a bit slow but this looks as if its shaping up. Anyways, I'll get back to you in a bit
~Andrew
Here's what I have so far. It's open for interpretation though.
Anyways, let me know what you think.
~Andrew
love what you did sin... my part should sound better in it after i clean up the guitar some... or whoever is doing the mixing fixes it up some... so i guess i should post my lone part.
well here is just my part... whoever is mixing it should get on that so we can hear how it all sounds together.
sorry... heres the link http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1 83159
Can you get me each guitar part separate for mixing purposes? It'll help me out a LOT. Thanks dude,

Did everyone like what I added in the beginning? It's fine if we take it out, I just thought it needed a little spicing up. I tried to stray away from the piano other than the eerie one in the intro. I also thought that the choir really tied stuff together but if you guys aren't a fan, I can take that out as well. I didn't want to muddy up the last part because I wanted the guitar solo to kick ass so yea.
Anyhow, if you need me to bounce all my tracks separately, let me know.
~Andrew
I'd much rather have the tracks separate, so I can fine-tune, and get things really pumpin'.

Non-existent. I've quoted myself for effect. Without things separated, It's not going to have any balance. It's like instead of mixing flour and water to make batter, I pour a gallon of water on top of a box of flour and expect it to turn into a cake....

so who hasnt sent seperated tracks?
Yep, I'm getting on that tomorrow morning. Had two exams today, sorry guys. Anyhow, I'll do that when I wake up tomorrow, sorry about that. Gotta love life.
Anyways, I'll post a link up tomorrow.
