the reason there is so much crap is because there are morons out there thinking it is cool to give everyone what is called "free blam points". it means that people can easily blam the thing without breaking a sweat and eveyone gets a blam point. making crappy entries requires no effort, and that is why it is so popular. maybe the second reason is because a lot of the entries are "first timers"

Hey Maybe another reason is because 90% of the people who submit are under 15. ANd they don't know how to type. Or make Flash. Or make good topics. ANd they all like anime. Like inuyasha.

What you have to accept is that to get a few real good things you often have to sift through a lot of crap to get it. Just look at Hollywood. Every year there are tons of movies made and only a couple are worth seeing. Not to mention all the shity scripts that didn’t even make it to film. The bad ones make the good ones all that much better.
