hey all, i am working on an animation, and i need to get some sounds, i am after...

-footsteps
-door open/close

can any1 help me, i cant seem to get them, some sites i have been to like sound dogs, i need a quicktime pro to download from source, so i cant download em due to the fact i dont have a quicktime thingy! anyways, al help would be apreciated

Not that you'd want to do this, but you could buy a Sound-effects CD. I sometimes leave mine on during the day when I'm at work, to make my neighbors think I'm crazy. The best part is when it plays chainsaws, lawnmowers, and breaking glass.

Back in the day I also used to visit a site called soundamerica.com.

You might even get a microphone, and try your luck with slapping shoes together (There's people who do that for a living). And if you're too poor to buy or own a microphone, you can plug a pair of headphones into a microphone jack on your computer, the sound quality will probably suck, but what can you really do?


Guns don't kill people, technichally it's bullets...
