I was looking after my Nephew the other day and was told to put on this Kids show called "In the Night Garden". And by god, it is the most awesome thing I have ever seen in my life.

Some will say that kind of skull fuckery would be best when enjoyed under the influence of some form of Narcotic, but these people are cunts.

Its full of bright shiny things with lots of crazy (and occasionally racist) names such as Iggle Piggle and MakkaPakka (who lives in a fucking cave). Theres 3 little guys who are always dropping their pants and a pakistani family with 8 kids.

Oddly enough watching it makes me extremely mellowed out, probably because of the theme tune which is fakking brilliantissimo.

So without further bantage I give you
In the Night Garden

BBC I FUCKING LOVE YOU!

My little nephew also loves this show and likes to dance whenever the theme tune comes on.

still find the name MakkaPakka a hoot though.

Mine just runs riot. Not even a cage could contain him =(

You vile racist!

Oh come on now, all kiddy shows have something crude hidden in them! What about those little red things, 2 parents, 8 kids?! You know they're reeking in them benefits and the kids don't even have a separate room from mummy and daddy! What a scandal!

That show is awesome. My nephew has a talking Iggle Piggle toy which says random phrases and sings his theme.

Anyone else find it hard not to call him Ickle Pickle?

I think he means near the beginning just before the music comes on, where a parent is running their finger over their child's hand and then the narrating starts.

Probably wrong though.

Ive been thinking about all the things ive seen that strike me as a wee bit odd.

Makkapakka - Pakistani who lives in a cave

NinkyNonk - What you said

Pontipines - Have a startling resemblance to an Asian family i.e. The 8 kids, the year round tan and the fact they all sleep in the same room (Stereotypical I know I know). I also suspect the family have the "Time to come home" bell which is due to a curfew imposed by the state of emergency and the imminence of a US airstrike. Oh and the kids all work for their father.

Wottingers - Same as the Pontipines but with different colour of clothes. I suspect they may be the Indian Nieghbours and the Pontipines the Pakistani one.

I think this whole thread should have been dedicated to Makka Pakka.

Seriously.

Makka Pakka will haunt my dreams.

The Makka Pakka dance.
