On other news, l've been getting an error that say "incomplete installation (16)"
I Gewgled it, and l found out that it's a very common error (but the other ones got numbers like 2or 32, not 16)..what's funny is that l got the error AFTER the update that was supposed to fix it..lolwtf.

Also, l'm trying to get the jukebox to play the portal song, apparently it's an easter egg, l tried changing the disk more than 20 times, but still nothing...l'll try again later.

I've survived the Airport campaign on L4D, on Expert. The only glitch we used was the whole Power Shot, where we emptied clips of ammunition into the tank.

Does that make me eligable?

Melee weapons are just a gimmick in this game. They are useless other than just for the fun you get those first few times you hit something with them. Other than that, anything else (including healthpacks, pills, etc) has always been a melee weapon. Pointless. Why would you carry around a guitar instead of a pistol?

The Xbox restricted the melee. I'm not sure if it happened to the PC players, but after that we found it hard to adjust so we settled for the Powershot when taking the tanks since we couldn't melee zombies away (ahem* the horde) during the process anymore.

In them calling Expert, easy sauce is really saying something!

Gee, I don't know, maybe because it will instantly kill anyone in it's radius in one hit and that it does insane damage and that it is different from melee attacks as melee weapons got secondary melee attacks too.

Secondary melee attacks?! Are we both still talking about L4D, the first one, not the L4D2 (which I would agree is easy sauce)? The powershot is useless for killing anything in it's 'line of fire' (not in a radius), you might as well have the Hunting Rifle, and just spam the headshots. As far as I can see the powershot only useful against the tank. Or 2 tanks. Or 3 tanks!

Indeed...melee weapons are NOT just a fun toy...the are really useful, far more useful than a single pistol....
As for dual pistols, l still prefer melee weapons, but if l manage to find a Deagle, well, in that case l keep it..it's a really effective weapon, and it will kill instantly any regular zombie you hit...this means that being down will not necessarily mean buttrape...

Just downloaded the L4D2 demo. It's pretty awesome, I must say. I especially love throwing Boomer Bile at Tanks... You can basically just sit back and shoot away while the Common Infected distract him for you - much more effective than a molotov :P

Also did the gore fix for the censored Aussie version... it's unbelievable how much more fun it is with it on... and also - RIOT POLICE ZOMGSUDFTSFDSHGDCFSHMD

There's some glitch in the demo, I was playing as the infected, and I got killed as the Boomer, yet I didn't explode. Here's the picture I took of it.

There is a melee cooldown now, you can't really spam it, but you can use it a good 6 or so times before so. Crouching in front of a door and spamming a melee weapon attack is pretty effective too.

I've finally gotten my PayPal working, so once all of my exams and assignments are finished, I'll be buying L4D. I've been interested in the concept ever since I played the L4D2 Demo on Steam, but seeing as the Australian government has severly fucked up on this one, I'm just gonna be buying the first game.
