The catch is that she was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My stepdad has been way too crazy, saying "you can't eat this!" or "You Can't eat that!", so i defended my mom, saying that she is just getting used to this new lifestyle.
Tonight, she just used that against me, and ordered a pizza from mountain mikes. I know its just a pizza, but it seems like shes not caring very much about her illness, and, if this goes on, she wont be around for a couple years. Any help from anyone who has had experience?

I had a friend who used to always complain about his horrible diabetes and how hard his life was, but he stuffed his face with chocolate alll the time, but then said that if he had some OJ he could die.

Shit dude, this is honestly the saddest thing I have red all day.
I sort of know how you feel, my mom is quite obese and she insist and eating nothing but Ice cream and potatoes with ranch and butter. I always throw remarks at her like "Oh, pizza for breakfast? Thats always a good start." Which really just makes me feel like an asshole and has nothing but negative effects on her.
Though she has no signs as of now of any complications due to her diet there sure to arise, quite possibly diabetes. So I can tell what you feel like, only its more serious.
Maybe just sit down with and tell her how you are honestly worried for her and care about what she eats. Possible lay out a diet plan?

Is your mom obese(I'm sure she is.)? Tie a collar to her and tie the collar to a tread mill put a play of brownies on the front of the treadmill, as she gets closer to the brownies increase the speed.
Exercise can help fight diabetes.

Lol.
I got stoned with my mom and she has random piss checks. I was like, "No, my mom's smoking with me! Don't do that! Don't watch me do this! I'm not doing this, get that out of my face!"
Cock joke at the end of the paragraph.

I've been trying to tell her, but she keeps on saying things like, "oh don't worry. i'll just work out on the treadmill tomorrow." and shit like that. the thing is that the dr. told my mom that she needs to lose at least 25 pounds by december, and progress... isnt going exactly well.
and to all you people who are saying things like OH SHE MUST BE OBESE or shit like that, then fuck you.

Hey I know how you feel,my mom has had type 2 diabetes for years, and she can't eat anything oily like burgers, pizza, etc.Point being just try and help your mom through this and convince her that diabetes is not something to take lightly.Just ignore all of these other people talking shit about your mom being obese or something,my mom isn't fat at all,and she has diabetes too.In short, try and convince her and help her manage this condition ok?

My grandpa has diabetes and eats shit he shouldn't all the time. I guess at least he drinks diet soda's now, and only drinks like crystal light orange juice instead of real orange juice.
