It looks just like that shitty movie "Dragon Wars", that came out a while ago. Epic visual effects, with a shitty story.
Not sure if it's a fail yet...i do like DBZ a little, this might be interesting.

At all. This is about as far from Dragonball as you could ever possibly get. This is clearly just a pitiful money-making scheme, regardless of if the movie turns out to be decent or not.

Dear lord that trailer was not reassuring. It looked like The Covenant only with characters from a highly recognizable popular anime. This could very well be a bigger disappointment than any media crossover film before it. I hope this movie doesn't do for Dragonball what every video game did for Superman.

Goku doesn't fit the part at all, Piciolo looks like he belongs in that TV show about that alien cop, and I don't recall anying in DragonBall ever using a gun, let alone Bulma.
And since when has master Roshi been 30? Shouldn't he be old... like in his 80s old? And where's the turtle shell?

I recall there being quite a few guns in Dragonball if I'm not mistaken.
There seems a lot besides that missing, such as everything that made Dragonball popular in the first place, save the names of the main characters and energy attacks.

Really? True I'm not an avid watcher of the series but I don't recall anyone using hand guns. Maybe in the original Dragon Ball since Goku fought an army... but Goku doesn't appear to be a 10 year old child and Picalo is hanging out so I'm assuming this is DBZ not DB.
But what do I know... I never watch the show.

That was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I don't know if that's to or against my credit since I'm a fan of the franchise.
But like all new things, I reserve my judgment until I actually see it. I wish they did Dragonball Z instead. I could go for a modern 21st century version of alien invasions and relying on a renegade alien turned good's super powers.
Kind of like the story of Too Human where they put a futuristic spin on Norse God mythology.
