Does anybody know how to add a pickup messure in my version of Finale?

I guess i could do that but does anybody else know a better way?
You have to add a measure at the start and then change it´s real value (for example 4/4 to 1/8) by right clicking on the measure in ``bar mode" but you have to make the shown tempo the same of the rest of the piece (4/4 in this case).
