Ok, so say you're in a scenario where, someone is about to get shot. You react quickly and jump in front of that person (with no bullet proof vest). Who would that person be? A loved one? A friend? Or would you not jump at all?

You can't jump in front of a bullet. If you jumped in front of it, the person shooting wouldn't shoot. They'd wait for you to move and then shoot.

Honestly I would only take a bullet for my parents and brother, I am just not close enough to anyone else to even consider doing that. Feels kind of bad to say that but meh, thats just how I am, maybe if I had a girlfriend I really care about I would take one for her.

Don't guns have more than one bullet in them? He can just shoot you and then shoot the other person you took the bullet for.

Realistically, hat's largely psychologically impossible. When someone points a weapon at you, another persons life is an after thought. Even if you do manage to think about your spouse, offspring, (whatever) soon enough and conjure up the courage to do it, it's too late unless you're almost already in the path of the bullet. It's not like in the movies here, guys.

Snipers only get one shot. Even with a pistol. If they miss, they have to get out fast, or they will get caught. Even if the sniper shoots again, that person would probably have gotten out of the way.

Having said that, I agree, I wouldn't jump in front of a bullet for anybody; I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in an afterlife, so I'm going to enjoy life for as long as I can. I'd be willing to take a bullet in the arm or something for someone if they were important for me, but I would never sacrifice my life for someone else.
