sorry I dont speak lphe..
you have to be careful about what you use - the samples have to be ones you can use for free, otherwise its technically "illegal" to use them in your songs..

hmm, i would think they would be if it was non profit. i mean you can even turn in films to film festivals with copyrighted music, win an award and still not have infringed anything.

you have to be careful about what you use - the samples have to be ones you can use for free, otherwise its technically "illegal" to use them in your songs..
it doesnt make it right - also people from the flash portal can use your music and then sell it - so anything you make has to be completely free of anything that could result in a lawsuit - no matter how unlikely and stupid it sounds - its the rule.

No, they can't. The creative commons license for the newgrounds audio portal says the songs can't be used for profit. If someone wants to sell the music they have to get your permission.

it is indeed the rule and its just as problematic as a flash author using VG sprites and making money off of their flash.
If your work isn't worth fighting for, it's not worth uploading on NG, period. (JrHager84)
