For those of you aspiring illustrators/designers/freelancers/whate ver who won a page on the calendar. Do save them. Or atleast photograph the piece while its still nice and shiny. Its a great portfolio piece and will be useful to you down the road in your professional career. You will be able to have a headstart over other people and have professional work in a commercial environment. Which is not only something to be proud of but very powerful in the business. Clients are more likely to deal with someone if they know you can produce professional quality work in a commercial scene. Clients are scared to be that first one, having a piece where Tom took a gamble and you paid off is really stress-relieving to clients. So my point is, even tho it was a 'contest' its all moot now. Your shit is in there and its commercially available and thus its a professional piece. Save it.
