I'm really digging this piece. A clever way to introduce numerous montages while keeping it a scene. I also dig the urban art scene and foul play in complete contrast with the "Another Day" characters. Great work here.

Hard to tell, if you ask me, I would recommend trying to apply your own "art style" to your piece. Try for something unique and/or challenging. You should know when you feel you've "finished" your piece. You can still repost your work if you wish.

I surprised this contest hasn't had as much entries as previous contests. We're giving a lot of freedom, 12 spots to shoot for, and a shot at our own calender. Guessing it must have been due to the short fuse on the deadline.

Ok quick update for y'all. Nearly there with this one, gonna finish the background and add a bit more detail here and there, but I'm more or less done. I'll finish the rest off later on, I gotta take a break.

I think HotDiggedyDemon's piece would be a lot better without the text, the text just seems to be getting in the way.

I've lost the file. It's gotta be in today too.

PEOPLE! Don't rush, you've still got more or less 11 hours. 11 HOURS. That's ages. Take your time, chill out, make yourself a brew and take your time. I see all these entries saying "uhh, I'm entering this last minute", it's hardly last minute. I'm not ranting I'm just informing. Make each picture count, otherwise what's the point?

Love the linework you've got going on, especially round the cannon blast.
Only personal gripe is I'd say the salad fingers is too dark (maybe put light source on other side?), but as a whole the pic's ace.

EDT/EST time is 5 hours behind GMT. So at 11:59 tonight (EDT/EST), it will be 4:59 am (GMT). Hope this helps, but its roughly 10, 11 hours for whoever is still working. Also you still have time to join Threadwood, you'll just have to work quicker than other people.

So it does! Well... it was my understanding that it had to be done on the 15th (Wed). I took that to mean 11:59 PM Wed. So, that's what I'm going with. Once it's the 16th (ng-time), it's done. Sorry for the confusion! Hope that didn't mess anyone up! :(

Because I have an essay due tomorrow and also gotta finish this thing which don't want to miss not-submitting because I already been at it for like 2 weeks now. Waaaaaaahey, this took a fucking long time. Uncle-Rossimer whose relatively new to Newgrounds but has known about it for yonks and is an amazing drawer by hand drew this all up in pencil, I took it and drew over it all again in flash and coloured it because it gave a much better effect then colouring in photoshop.

So this is definitely a two way effort, a collaborative effort, So Uncle-Rossimer deserves just as much, if not even more credit then me.

We like blockhead and he just went crazy with a ton of doodles. I'm very proud of it. Took a bagillion hours to redraw in flash.

Well, first off, this is by far the best Blockhead entry in the contest so far. I'm not really familiar with the character, but congratulations, because you managed to draw him in an interesting and aesthetically pleasing way so that he doesn't come off as if he totally sucks - this actually makes me want to watch some stuff with Blockhead in it.

Aside from that, I just think this is a really good example of what to do if you're only going to focus on one character - there's lots of detail and it's something that I wouldn't mind staring at for an entire month.

Also, good job on making it a collaborative effort and taking the time and effort to produce something polished and worthwhile - I can believe that it took a "bagillion" hours to redraw in flash, and that's what been nice about more recent entries, that people spent a really long time working on them and it shows.

I've made mine, and Submitted it to the art section, but, I'm not so sure how to go about with the resizing.. I made it in flash.. I just got an idea on how to fix this little problem of mine.. Dunno if it will work though.. Help will be appreciated.
