Thats pretty awesome that pirates nowadays have the balls to take over a ship hauling Russian tanks, too bad American ships are making sure they don't unload the ship because it would be hilarious if they sold them to another country. But 20 million is low considering the cargo they took over.

Pirates still exists, yeah. I've seen a couple of documentaries about it. In the Indian region , it's full of them because of the tsunami. Lots of unemployment and poverty, poor house rebuilding and basically no hope for a lot of people. So they organise, find/steal weapons and propably steal a boat with enough power in the engine to just hijack a boat. Most of the time, it's not the boat that interests them, just the food, gas, money from the crew ("loot" if you want) that interests them.
