A minor goof up I should have known better than to make, I'll admit that, but I must thank you for correcting me and confirming my earlier statement that the law was on the side of the man in this case and the rest of you can jolly well go fuck yourselves.

It's an example of how, when dealing with something completsly illegal, the law has no relevance.

Non sequiter, your argument implies that it's just fine to own illegal weapons so long as you don't do anything illegal with them, despite ownership of those weapons being illegal to begin with.

And just so you know, Mark Manes was jailed and fined $500 for selling the teens guns. Robyn Anderson got off scott free because she did not know that the two teens would go on a shooting spree.

Because, again; O.J Simpson was innocent, the Stalin Show Trials where legit, and no one killed Emmit Till.

And because picking 12 people, at random, and expecting them to decide a case by a law they likely do not know without any form of bias or personal feeling can never possibly go wrong.

Hahahahahaha, LiveCorpse is dead. Good Riddance.

I don't see how that makes him a murderer. It makes the kid a moron.

I know at least here, being afraid of someone isn't reason enough to shoot'em. Even if it's in your property.
Over here, it WOULD have been considered murder, or, if he was extremely lucky, manslaughter.

That said, I'm happy I live in a country with strict gun laws. Those things just doesn't happen here.
Because guns are the only way to murder people...oh wait.

Because it's very much easier to pull a trigger than to stab someone. I mean, looking at the facts, we DO have less murders here. So does norway, which have similiar weapon laws. Finland, which is very close and has about the same demographics, have a much higher rate of murder, and has had two school shootings (while we've had zero). You know what? Finland has less gun control.
No, guns aren't the only way to kill people, but the more guns are in circulation, the larger the risk someone gets shot. Just in the same way that nuclear bombs aren't the only way to kill people, but you want to limit them because the more are around, the larger the risk they will be used.

You know what? Most CRIMINALS over here doesn't even have them. It's not worth the risk. If you are seen with a gun, the cops come and get you no matter who you are (unless you can show a special license, and even then, only in private property is it allowed).

You shouldn't believe that you have the right of free thinking, it's a threat to our democracy.

I did not say I agreed with what the guy did or the fact that he was let off, what I said was that the law was on his side and there's not much the rest of us can do about it.

And because picking 12 people, at random, and expecting them to decide a case by a law they likely do not know without any form of bias or personal feeling can never possibly go wrong.

The only flaw in this statement is that it's not a jury's job to interpret the law, they're job is to determine guilt or innocence based on the evidence provided.
