New Art Contest!

Yo,

I'm hosting an art contest for Halloween. It won't be as grand scale as the official NG ones, but I thought it could still be a lot of fun for everyone. I will be giving away a small prize pack of some stickers and a new T-shirt I'm ordering for my site.

The concept of this contest is to create a FEAR of yours. It can be anything from a horror movie villain or the sheer fact that you are afraid of having your food touch together. Whatever it may be, I want you to bring you best effort.

NO Photoshopped images will be excepted.
Image size can be anything.
You may enter more than once.

The contest starts today (9/27/08 at 2:00 pm central time) until October 31, 2008 at 11:59 pm central time. Anything after this time will not be excepted into the contest.

Unfortunately, there will be only one Grand prize for this competition.
I'm still looking for help judging this contest so if any Mods or NG regulars would like to get involved please PM me. I'd like to get a panel of at least 4 judges total to decide the winner. Thanks.

Yes. Non-digital art will be except but please scan in a nice copy.

It would help out your submission greatly if you could explain the FEAR behind the picture.

For example, my "example" picture is an eye slowly popping out with blood and tears. I can barely look at anything gross dealing with eyes and what not so I thought I'd face my FEAR hear on.

Here's my submission :P I know this sounds like a dumb fear, but whenever I use the bathroom, I always check the seat to see if there's spiders or other little critters lurking about...haha I am afraid they'll crawl up my butt.

Most of the entries look like they have been taking the artist like 5 seconds to make. Come on! Don't waste your time on throwing together a really bad sketch. Take your time with the picture and ya'll have something to be proud of and a chance to win this competition. 3 weeks is plenty of enough time to create something worthy of making it into your portfolio. :)

Hey. That's a good idea but it really limits the artist so I say be wild with it. The more the merrier, because as long as people are submitting pictures, this thread/contest lives another day.

is this only digital? my personal medium is paint, and is usually abstract involving splatter or color schemes
