During lunch me and three of my friends were eating, doing homework that was for the next class, and having small talk conversations. Suddenly this little kid came up to us and just sat down next to my friend John. He just sat there until we looked at him with a confused expression on our faces.
"Um....hello?" John said
The kid was an eighth grader, but not the tough guy wannabes like the rest of the eighth grade at our high school. He was rather smaller and pretty nerdy.
"Hi...my brother and his friends shunned me so I thought I'd come here and make new friends" the little kid said.
We were all pretty annoyed but it didn't bother us too much. The kid had some strange bruise on his face. It looked like a severe sun burn. it was pink and covered up half his face. Once I saw that I felt pretty bad for the kid. He seemed nice, a little annoying. He took out his red lunch box and pulled out some celery sticks, cookies, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He just started eating and offered everybody at the table a Recees peanut butter cup. We all told him no thank you and he just sat and ate. I know this sounds a little harsh but I kind of hope he doesn't sit with us again. He seemed like a nice kid and all that but it just felt weird having this random kid sit down and not even tell us his name, yet I still feel pretty bad for the little guy since he seemed like he didn't have much friends.
