Yasmin Fostok, 27, who is a single mother, admitted that she performs in London bars and nightclubs.
Miss Fostok, who lives in Catford, South London, said: "I don't get on with my dad. I don't agree with his views - I just get on with my life and that is it."
She has changed her Muslim name Youssra to Yasmin, dyed her hair blonde and has a three-year-old son who was conceived during an arranged marriage to a Turkish man which has since collapsed.
She told the Sun: "I don't normally do topless work but I'm willing to go topless if the venue is right."
Her father, who has been living in Lebanon since he was exiled from the UK three years ago, said he had no idea about her job.
He said: "If this is true I am deeply shocked.'
"She was brought up properly in the Muslim faith but she is free to make her own choices in life. But I am still shocked.
"I haven't spoken to her for a long time, because I believed she was living with her family in Turkey. But I knew nothing of this.
"She should not seek forgiveness from me, she should seek forgiveness from God.
"If she has done these things she will be judged on Judgment Day. But God will forgive her anything except becoming a non-Muslim."
Miss Fostok grew up in North London and was a devout Muslim as a teenager, wearing a veil and covering herself from head to toe.
Her father sparked outrage for his preaching of hate when he praised the 9/11 bombers and said he would "never condemn Osama bin Laden or any Muslims".

This woman is the daughter of a prominent cleric in the UK who was barred from re-entering the UK, due to comments about praising terrorism. Haha, this couldn't happen to a nicer man.

He should be proud that his daughter is working in a legitimate occupation, something he himself never managed to achieve.

Considering he hasn't talked to her since she got married, I don't think he is overly concerned about her. I bet the will-nots in his underwear are more of a daily concern to him than she is.
And now for your viewing pleasure, I introduce, the lovely Miss Fostok:

Well, good on her. That's the funniest, and most satisifying story of defiance to parents I've ever heard.

Why, why are so many people so obsessed with what goes on in someone (exspeacily someone they don't know) else's personal life, it just makes you look like a dumbass with no life of you own.

As soon as this cleric comes out and says, "I'm very proud of my daughter and I love her no matter what she does for living", I'll stop caring about it. But while he's still a bigoted, narrow-minded, ultra-conservative Muslim fundamentalist, this is all just too much fun.
I admire the courage of the daughter, by the way. She certainly has brought more honour for her family than her father has.

They shouldn't have exposed her because she's marked. She will probably have to go into hiding. I would like to go up to him and tell him that his daugher has a sweet ass.

Why, because you just like to piss over other people's faith and thier misfortunes. I think it took enough respect and love to say that his daughter is to make her own choices in life, just like everyone else.
If you took anyonebody else and put them into the same position, they would probally say the same thing. I know, that if this was my daughter, I would, just as that man, be shocked of what she said.
Yes, the man is a dick for preaching genocide with some sort of religous backround to it. I'm going to agree with you on that. But you people, in your extreme dislike of the person, are basically building up a desperate girls actions of personal survival (which probally had almost nothing to do with her father) into some sort of honorable crusade.

I can't understand most of the people posting here. The cleric has obviously been brought up to be who he is, he had no choice, his parents were like that, their parents were like that, etc.
We see these problems in the 'backwards' part of the U.S. (e.g. West Virginia, haha.). My point is that this man is not wrong. His views are different and maybe wrong according to your moral standards but people here need to stop viewing the world as from their own limited point of view and realize that in that culture what his daughter did was incredibly wrong. Hell, its frowned upon in the U.S.
It's like you people not understanding the 'inner mind' of the terrorist. They're not BAD PEOPLE, they just do what they see is right in their culture/religion. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in with global society standards.
The people here so ready to fly off the handle on this guy probably have some of the same problems themselves. They're constricted by their environment and misguided views on life.

I don't see any misfortune or desperation here. She's an independent girl, working in an honest occupation. There is nothing negative about her straying as far away from Muslim values as possible. In fact, I hope she has the wisdom and courage to commit apostasy as soon as possible. Her father is being intolerant enough just by saying that there is something God needs to "forgive" her.

Or maybe it's the culture that's wrong? What she does is perfectly legal and within her rights. If that comes between her and her father, then he is the one at fault. His daughter doesn't live in that barbaric culture any more, and she's a free, independent grown-up. Therefore he doesn't have any right to dictate her life.

Just because they're "brought up" in that culture and those values, it doesn't mean that those values should be immune from criticism and ridicule, or that they automatically deserve respect. We should all rejoice that this woman has been able to escape the chains of her culture where she would be treated as a slave and whipped in the back for flashing her ankles.

An honest occupation, right.
Regardless, the fact that you seem to think that the father is intolerant because he thinks that God needs to forgive her for being a stripper is idiocy. Any father, any religous person, would agree with this idea. The same idea coming from this man would be the same one coming from a Catholic, a Protestant a Jew and any other religous group.
A parent will love thier child, the parent doesn't need to like what they do. A parent can let thier child live thier lives, not like what they do.
If you call that intolerance me friend, then I question your definitions. The father doesn't like what she does, most wouldn't. The father says that it's the daughters choice, her own life. Most would. Now he's intolerant.
If thats intolerant my friend, then I am as well and I hope to god that most people are.

It's certainly more honest than her father's occupation.

Exactly, and the intolerance is present in all of those religion, though usually not as strongly as in Islam. The notion that "being a stripper is a sin" or something like that is what is idiocy, and frankly, intolerance.

It's not the fact that he doesn't like what she does what makes him intolerant, it's the fact that he thinks GOD disapproves of her actions. It takes a breathtaking amount of arrogance to say things like that, not to mention saying "God will forgive her everything, except if she leaves Islam". I admit that the cleric's comments regarding her daughter seem oddly liberal for a Muslim, but I have little doubt that if he was still in control of his daughter's life, he would exert the full force of the Sharia law on her. Or if she converted to Christianity or came out as an atheist, he wouldn't be too keen on expressing his fatherly love any more.

Apparently Daddy paid for her implants in cash ($7350).
On behalf of males everywhere, I thank the cleric for this wonderful investment.

for being a stripper? she could have gone against her parent's wishes and teachings many more "honourable" ways. and if she wants a prize for spite she should have become a hooker.

At least she has a Job, and isn't just going around handing out the Big issue, which he should be happy about. He makes out that she shall be forgiven, and he does not hold anything agaisnt her, but im sure he is deeply ashamed that her body has been seen publicly, and probaly, if not definitely, Disagree's with her lifestyle, and occupation.
