So my friend and I settled down and drank some beer on our weekly movie night (I know sounds gay). Since we had no burned movies left to watch and were unwilling to move away from the couch we decided to rent a movie on digital tellie. Most of the selection we had already seen so we payed 8 bugs to see 'The genius club'. The description of the movie appealed to me, though the actors I was familiar with weren't the most ambitious ones, I thought it would be a save choice.
How I was wrong!!!
This is most likely the worst most pretentious pseudo religious based movie I have ever seen. It devours mission to mars. which was the previous turd award holder.
Its incredible such movies are still made. How can this be published, how can people not interfere and stop production.
I am dutch therefor greedy and I only watched through the whole movie because I wanted value for my money. I also hoped that somehow this godawfull movie would suddenly surprise me by letting the bomb be detonated after all, while actually the chances of that happening where zero from the start.
And my question.. How can imdb rate this as a 5.5?? That's disgustingly high. Comments like these are insane. How can a person, who is obviously not retarded, say such words? is the rumor true? Do film companies post positive feedback on IMDB?
