Choose one talent

Which talent would you most like to have :

Artistic - You have incredible skills in drawing, painting, animating, sculpting and designing.

Musical - You dont only make phenomenal progress with any instrument you learn to play, you also have the talent to write good lyrics and come up with the best melodies.

Imaginative - You come up with mind blowing ideas on a regular basis, you can also come up with storys that are unique and original. You always find new ways of doing things so life doesnt become boring.

In an effort to make this topic more discussion based, I don't believe you have to choose any single one of those. The first two are entirely reliant on the last one. You need the creativity and ideas, unless you plan to just read music.

But yeah, all of that stuff you can learn, IF you put the time into it. If you wanted to be a violinist who drew amazing pictures while bowing in third position, you could do it, if you practiced 5 hours a day. You can increase your creativity by excercissing your muscle and trying to come up with crazy ideas while not censuring yourself.

That I would ever have to pick one and just be given it wouldn't be worth anything. I mean, over half of the appreciation comes from the knowledge that you struggled to get there. Otherwise its just something you can do, like brushing your teeth. Except that you get groopies for brushing your teeth, isn't that an interesting idea.

I have all the three. The Imagination already makes the other two very easy to have.

The last option pretty much contains both of the other ones.

At the moment I would like to have musical talent, although I could actually try if I would just get a program I could easily make music with. I can somewhat play keyboard, so I could try at that sometime.

At the moment I'm satisfied with my artistic skills, which are a lot better than what I wanted to have when I started making flash movies.

I think of the three you listed, 'imaginative' seems the most desirable, as it's more widespread and you can do a lot more with it. Whilst the other two are still great talents / abilities to have, I'd prefer the ability to come up with awesome ideas all the time.

Mine would probably have to be musical. I play the guitar, very well people tell me too.

Personally I find creativity important. You need it to be original and to be able to do things for yourself, not other people.
