If you haven't already heard, the brand spanking new version of Flash has just came out! I don't know if they have changed the type of AS but it is supposed to be great!!
What do you think?

I got a trial version last night, but it's going to take some time for me to get used to the new interface. Seriously, it looks nothing like the old Flash versions, even CS3.

I like the bones tool, although it's unfortunate that it requires AS3 to use when I can only code in AS2. I do, however like the object-based animation. It takes a little getting used to if you've been comfortable making classic tweens. I have to admit, a lot of the things that made classic tweening a real bitch are simply eliminated with this feature.

I have yet to try out 3D object moving. I installed it last night, but I was so tired that I couldn't try everything. I'll upload a screenshot or two once I get home if anyone is interested.

I tried searching on the Adobe website, but they only have trials for CS3, and they said the haven't released trials for CS4...

The only way you could possibly have it is if you were in a closed beta, but then again that period would be over by now. Saying you can't give a link out basically shows that you're lieing. The only proof you have offered is a screenshot, which could be found from anywhere. If the download link you apparently have is so legit, it would require user authentication to download, so you could freely give it out and noone would be able to download it.

Busted in what way? They sued you? How busted can you be if they totally trust you with CS4, a single generation after you leaked their software? Anyway, Flash 9 Beta was released publicly and usable until the release of CS3.

If you want to make me look unbelievably foolish you will post real proof that you have it, i.e. a flash file that proves you made it (by referencing something relevant i.e. your name, my name, newgrounds, whatever) and uses CS4-only features. I have flash player 10, do it.

Well clearly you're not a beta tester, because you don't know AS3. Either Liaaaaam is exactly right, or you're doing it SOMEHOW illegally, which isn't allowed on the forums, so you don't want a ban.

Well said Liam. Good points. Yeah i agree with you. If you have it theres really no big reason you cant share with us. Its only a trial.

The only CS4 thing I can think of would be a 3D motion preset. Now, when I publish it the thing should spin, but it doesn't move when i uploaded it. You might have better luck.

Well what's a CS4-only feature that can't be replicated in an earlier version? The bones tool can also be tweened in older versions, and apparently so can 3D.

Use one of the new effects, Crystallize perhaps.

Also look at the 3D samples on the Adobe site, the object being rotated doesn't FLIP every time it rotates 180 degrees..

AHH it doesn't load for me. I really wanna see what that is too! If i get CS4 first thing i doing is finding a coder and making a 3d game.

Haha, spike Deltas drink and kidnap him, force him to work on a game so he can be released. Although a programmer with deltas skill could make a 3D engine similar to that in CS3 I'm positive :P It's just easier for people to make 2D games ^^

I can vouch for the fact that 64 isn't full of shit. I haven't personally talked to him about it yet, but I've known him for like... years and he's a pretty straight-forward guy when it comes to Flash.

Not to mention that your main arguement against him having the program is 'NUH UH, UR LYING, U BIG LIAR.' There's no proof that he has the program thus far, but there's no proof that he doesn't either. I think instead of jumping down his throat about the validity of his claim we'd be better off asking him about CS4; what's the worst that can happen? If he's full of shit, we can honestly all just move on with our lives.
