I said nothing about taxes being higher in Canada (though they are). I'm just mentioning the fact that Canadian healthcare is not free, because its funded by your tax dollars. Saying that your healthcare is free is simply untrue. It's a euphemism for a reality that is not so awesome to say; that instead of choosing where you money goes for healthcare, Canadians are forced to pay Ottawa for government-provided healthcare.

That's a contradiction. How can someone think something is free just because they are paying their government for it instead of a private company? How is that "free" when your choice in the matter as an individual is nonexistent?
Here's a relevant analogy: Say you take that money from your dad and go buy him something with it... like shoes or something. Can he rightfully say that the shoes you bought him are free? Did he get free shoes just because he had no choice in the matter, even though it was his money, and you were just the one who physically purchased them?
Nope.
Just like your healthcare in Canada is not free, you're just having your money spent for, and having your decisions made for you.
then pay no taxes and pay INSANE amounts for health care the usa
I'd rather choose where my healthcare money goes, and from whom I get coverage from, than have some bureaucracy decide when, where, and from whom I get health care.
Oh, and even if healthcare in the US is more expensive, I'd rather be in debt than be dead. Wouldn't you? That expensive healthcare in the US results in higher survival rates from diseases. Canadians can't benefit from spending more money inside of Canada, they don't have the choice (unless of course they jump ship to the US).

even if your taxes pay for it its still free healthcare
people in the usa are simply dieing because they cant afford the health bills whereas in canada we might pay small taxes but at least when we need help from the doctor and or hospital we can get whenever we want and need
the time it takes for us to get served at a clinic or hospital is an entire different ball game though

Um... money is leaving your pocket and is funding your healthcare.
That's not free.
Maybe you need to look up the definition.
people in the usa are simply dieing because they cant afford the health bills
Canadians are dying because their healthcare system is controlled by their government who cuts costs, lowers the rate of procedures, makes people wait in line for long periods of time, and skimps on simple things like records keeping.
whereas in canada we might pay small taxes but at least when we need help from the doctor and or hospital we can get whenever we want and need
That's not true at all. Canadians do not have the same access and timeliness of treatments that Americans get. You may not have to pay outside of your taxes for things, but what is the purpose of healthcare? To save lives or to save money?
The Canadian system covers everyone, but it doesn't emphasize the best possible treatment in quality like the US system does.
the time it takes for us to get served at a clinic or hospital is an entire different ball game though
And the chance of you getting treated quickly, with the best possible treatments, is a lot less than it is in the US, even when factoring in Americans who are not covered by health insurance. Canada's system is more efficient only on a dollar-value basis and coverage basis, it does not perform better than the US where it counts... in actually treating people successfully.

Of course, it turns into a debate between CellarDoor and with some Canadian.
Back to topic:
My Grandmother has quite a bit of money, but most of it is tied up in her houses.
And my dad is somewhat well off, but he's had to move his money around quite a bit with the current economic situation.
Eh, it's not like I'd ever wind up in economic ruin easily.
I'd have to make a pretty conscious effort to go broke.
