Hell guys, I am back from my grandfathers funeral in Northern Ireland. I like the fact my grandfather wasn't ultra religious and therefore can not be connected in anyway to the troubles in Ireland. Still, twas good to meet people and get loads of free cider :3

Not even just vikings. Most any warrior before the advent of gunpowder was brave, courageous and such. The time when you had to be more skilled than your opponent to defeat them is gone, and now war is a game of cowardice and numbers. Now if your a slightly better shot than someone, than you kill them. No valor. No glory. No Asgard. You can kill people most of the time without even having to show your face. I would have been eager to join the army in the time of the Norse raiders, but not now. If I am going to die, I prefer to see the face of whomever bested me.
