Has anyone heard of this film? It's about the life of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man who ran for San Francisco supervisor and was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone. Gus Van Sant directs - Trailer

I think it looks great, and it's good to see another film by Gus Van Sant that doesn't implode itself with lack of narrative.

Many great films have been extremely well made.

While I may have a bias because I live in SF, I still highly recommend this movie for those mature and curious about San Francisco in the 70s.

Sexuality is completely arbritary to when a movie is good, or when it's bad. Movies like The Bubble are very good, and admitting that it is doesn't mean people are on a gay evangelical quest to make people "aware."
