I have written a program that will encrypt just about any string of text and decrypt any encrypted text (using the same program). So I encrypted a certain phrase and I want to know who can figure out what it is.
The encrypted text is at:
http://www.dillxn.com/code.txt
If you want a key (some decrypted text and their encrypted equivalents) visit: http://dillxn.com/key.txt
Also, if anyone figures it out and finds out the algorithm I used (I wrote the algorithm from scratch so there is nothing like it on the web) I'll pay them 30 dollars in paypal. Also, I'll release the program I made (the encryption / decryption program) to the public after someone figures it out.
Thanks guys!
P.S. If you would like to request more phrases for the key.txt then just post on here.

um
it looks like all you did was cast characters to their integer equivalents
so probably something like
int n = (int) c
lol.

What do you mean? I just asked you to crack the code... How could this put a virus on your computer? Did the encrypted text scare you?

Haha, if you think it's that simple then solve it... I dare you. It has taken me hours to perfect my algorithm; it's not something simple like that.

Not that many people look at the programming forum compared to the General forum.

Yeah, but nobody in General cares.

^that is incorrect... the newgrounds markup editor didn't accept one of the characters so it doesn't appear here - don't go on that.

Sort of, yeah. I have since upgraded the algorithm so it doesn't include that. Good observation.

The program can be downloaded at:
http://www.airtimeseller.com/Dillxn/encr yption/Releases/XE6_v2.0.0.0.rar
Now things should be easier. I obviously don't care about decryption the phrase, but I want someone to find my algorithm. (Then you get $30.00)

Haha, I know exactly what you mean! I originally coded it in C++, but then translated it to VB.NET so my brother could take advantage from it (It's his first year programming).
The reason I posted the VB version on here is because I expanded it much larger than the C++ version, with an improved algorithm.

That's because that's the updated version of the algorithm and the code I posted no longer works with it.

How smart. Once someone finds out the algorithm and you've released the program we can just decrypt what people encrypt.
Nice one.
