I've been in love before. It's overated. Though i suppose it has its ups and downs. If you really love someone than every time you're near them its the most wonderful thing in the world, its just a completely ecstatic feeling just to sit next to them and hold their hand. On the downside, whenever you're not near them you think about them nonstop and its terribly painful to not be with them. So it would depend on whether they like you too, as just to hug someone you're in love with is a greater feeling than any orgasm, but if they don't feel the same way then to know that you can never be with them is so painful you just want to die to make it all go away. My main problem was that I couldn't do anything with the girl I loved around, I'd always end up paying more attention to her than to anything else.

There's a big difference between 'love' and 'infatuation' (or 'lust'). Most people will have experienced the latter, but not the former. I don't even know if I'm qualified to distinguish between the two, personally, although out of all my relationships, two girls stand out to me as even coming close to any possible feeling of love. I still believe that it was more on the side of infatuation.

I don't think I have really been in love, TBH. I get too into a relationship too easily, despite knowing I shouldn't. I just hope that if I do find it one day I'll know the difference.

Also, NEVR, I think that all (of my few and short) relationships were out of lust, they were all great experiences and I have learned a lot from them but I regret going that far into a relationship without loving the person.
