So... As a new school year begins, we are doing these things called "personal fitness profiles" or something like that in gym class.

After doing a few of the things needed for these (such as X time to do 1M run, X pushups in one minute, X chinups before failure, etc.), I realized that I am really fricking out of shape.

I've never been the athletic kid, but I'm usually able to run around and do simple exercises decently, However, it seems that my slugitude over the summer has left me in really bad physical shape.

So, what sort of exercise plan do you think I should do to get back in gear?

Have you ever seen that episode of Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps where Gaz has broken up with Donna, and has gotten fat because shagging her was the only exercise he got? Yeah, you should totally do what he did, and have a training montage where you wank yourself fit.

some walking, going up and down stairs, lifting heavy bags, and the all time male number one.

You just said what you need to practice in your post... chin ups, pushups, and practicing the mile run.

More information is needed to actually give you a good program... check out the NG GYM post in there with more details and someone will help you.

i have a great exercise for you to do.

Jump Rope

it's awesome, its aerobic, you can do it in your home without a machine and you excersize your arms and shoulders and its fun.

YEs-I was going to say that. Also install some pull-up bars and get some dumbbells. You can get a jump rope and dumbbell set cheap at Ebay.
