After doing a few of the things needed for these (such as X time to do 1M run, X pushups in one minute, X chinups before failure, etc.), I realized that I am really fricking out of shape.
I've never been the athletic kid, but I'm usually able to run around and do simple exercises decently, However, it seems that my slugitude over the summer has left me in really bad physical shape.
So, what sort of exercise plan do you think I should do to get back in gear?

it's awesome, its aerobic, you can do it in your home without a machine and you excersize your arms and shoulders and its fun.

YEs-I was going to say that. Also install some pull-up bars and get some dumbbells. You can get a jump rope and dumbbell set cheap at Ebay.
