Cartoon network killed toonami they fucked with the time repeatedly. Then the good shows got removed the final episode of yuyu hackusho was not even on toonami it was on very early in the mourning and i was surprised to even see the show was still around. That pissed me off that i never even got to see repeats because it was taken off air.

I cheered the rise of Gundam, and grew to love shows like Outlaw Star, DBZ , Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai Jack, and even Sailor Moon. I guess it was time to end it though, Toonami was dying ever since 2003 it was on life support for the past 5 years until the garbage shows rotted Toonami from within.

I loved outlaw star. I can't believe they never made another season that show did good. Outlaw star was the reason i used to stay up at night to watch it uncut even though they did cut it later anyway. It was one of the few shows i devoted myself into not missing a single episode of.

It was a fun 11 years I gotta say, but things change and we must move on. CN has already lost every shred of respect I had for it, all that's left now is to change it's name to the "Laugh Network" and start airing more live-action crap.

*sigh* Here's to the good ol' days.

*Salutes off to the memory of Spud Tom and yes that WAS his name just payed attention* We will remember you as a beacon of hope to the sadness of young school children of '98-'00. You we're an inspiration and credit to Artificial Lifeforms in general. May you float on, through the stars creating that beacon in an alternate dimension somewhere else. *Throws away my helmet* Damn you Cartoon Network, Damn you for whoring out and changing your ways.

Same here. I've watch Toonami through the years, starting with Moltar then later Tom with DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam, hell, even Bobobo. Toonami (during it's prime) had the 4pm to 7 pm timeslot locked tight. Network television GAVE UP on trying to compete against it and dropped the entire 3-5pm children's block, that's how big it was. With all this behind them I was hoping they'd at least give it a decent send off, but no.. they didn't even do any flashbacks or anything special. Just 35 seconds to end a decade-plus of work.

I feel bad for all the little kids now, they will just remember CN as a place filled with shit like total drama island, johnny test, george of the jungle and whatever the fuck they're showing.

This picture pretty much sums up my feelings. CN is the old man, and I'm the girl.

RIP Toonami

I hope my sig dosen't come out distorted

Errrrrr, Did I kill the thread accidentally? I just remember those years as like toonami's definingly good years atleast to me. I didn't mean the last two versions of Tom were good, just that he was a shining example of hope we had as kids. Hopefully though ni another dimension right now, cartoon networl is not selling out Ted avery, Speed racer, Lupin the 3rd, The Gundam in general , Tom and Jerry, Gigantor,. etc, etc Basically I hope they succeed where they ruined it here in another existance. Sorry if it sounded like I was happy with thier pathetic attempt of good tv by filling time slots with shit.

You should also note that as cartoon network's toonami block sucked more and more. Cartoon network's standards and practices departments gotten stricter and stricter.

The departments gotten stricter because of neglectful parents sending complaints that the shows toonami are inappropriate for there unsupervised four year old due to the shows violent content.

Lazy parents always managed to ruin the fun of children just because there little seed is stupid.

No question, CN's pretty much dead. There's nothing left that I'd be interested in watching. Perhaps AS might have something, some anime or such, however I can't stay up due to school. I'm too lazy to check anyway.

This picture pretty much sums up my feelings. CN is the old man, and I'm the girl.

Geez, man, what's with you and old man porn? Still, I suppose you're right.

Wait, what is this? ReBoot, Sailor Moon, DBZ... Does some shard of Toonami live on in this place?
