You have to look for the link within the ~A href="~ or ~img="~ (Can't use unclosed tags as examples), and update that.

I believe that embedding simply loads the page from another source. So, when you embed a youtube video you never actually download the movie to your server, but the page still requests the content from another source to display it.
Anyway, as has been pointed out you would be better served asking questions like this in the programming forum. Feel free to recreate it there. Someone already posted a link.
