So some co-workers took me to a club tonight.

It was fun, for the first 15 minutes..

I had to get the "X's" on my hands, since I'm not 21. What did I do? Immediately went to the restroom and washed them off. Hell yeah. Fuck America and their strict-ass age limit.

So I got me a beer and chilled for a bit, decided to get a couple Corona's for my buddy Jerry and I, and the bartender had them open, and RIGHT as I was about to hand him my cash, another faggot bartender walked up and asked for my ID. So I turned around and told Jerry, "Fuck, he's ID'ing me, what should I do?"

He replies, "Dude, just book it fast before the cops come."

With a quick nod I walked out the door like I had emergency phone call. I saw the cops coming for me out the door so I weaved between parked cars, jumping over a few hoods, started my car, and left real quick-like. I saw the flashing lights behind me in the parking lot, and kinda started freaking out. Luckily, the building is right off the interstate, so I merged on and blew by the traffic and got mixed within it. After accelerating to 100mph, I found my exit and took it and casually drove home, NOT stopping for the wreck I witnessed. :(

Anyway I'm here now and got a text from Jerry asking if I made it, I told him yeah and asked if the group got harassed after I left. The cops took my group outside and asked if they bought me beer, and Jerry replied "Nah, he washed off his X's to buy some chicks a beer. I don't even think that fool drinks."

So, it all worked out in the end.. I'm still pissed I had to pay $10 to get in and then have to flee.

Similar experiences anyone?

You're retarded.

I've been drinking underage for 5 years now, and I hope to be "that guy" that gets away with it until 21. Which is only a year away.

Anyway, why would ANYONE in their right mind just stand there and wait for the police to come and give you a ticket/lock you up? I've got plenty of bills to pay and I can't afford to pay my own bail/tickets/lose my job.

Fuck if I am legally allowed to get into debt, I should be able to buy a goddamn beer.

No you TEENAGE child, there's a reason why the age of alcohol is 21 and not 18.

To stop people like you from doing stupid shit while intoxicated on it, like you're proving

Story seems bs-ish. Cops showed up awfully fast and your over-the-top starsky and hutch sliding over the hood bullshit doesn't work.

Anyways, when it comes to clubbing you:
1. Can pick up drunk girls easily therefore negating the need to risk drinking under age.
2. Why wash off the stamp when you could get anyone to pass off a drink to you?

Grow up. ;D

Haha. The kid goes flamey flame flame and calls me a child. xD

1.) I wasn't intoxicated. I barely finished a single beer.
2.) I'm not 18, I'm about to turn 20. You're probably not even 16.
3.) You post on this BBS TOO MUCH to have a job. Thus hinting you're really the only child in this conversation.
4.) I hope alcohol killing one of your family members is the reason you are so irate right now.
5.) You wouldn't be talking shit to me on the internet if I was close enough to punch you in the face right now.

I just fled from the cops!

The cops were there the whole time. They generally are with as many fights and shit that go on here.

I wasn't so much "sliding over the top" of the cars, some of them were parked bumper to bumper, so I just had to leap over since there was no gap.

Listen, child. Just by acting like a fugitive and escaping the reprimands of responsibility and the law, you're proving that regardless of your age, you don't understand the idea behind age limitations.

You think you're above anyone that's under your age, but you can't even own up to something you do wrong, then actually complain about it on a public forum.

Grow up. I hope that the last thing you think is, "Man, that guy was right, what the fuck was I doing" when you're in jail, or dead in a car crash from drunk driving.

Ya know, why bother drinking underage? What IS the point? I had my first drink 7 months after my 21st birthday. Seems kinda silly to me that some KIDS are all like "I NEED a drink!"

Unless it's a moderately complex stamp on people who are over 21 rather than something that under-age people can remove, what's the point?

I went to a club a few months ago, and they had this brilliant system set up. Everyone was require to wear a wristband. The bands they applied were those zip tie things, over 21 got blue with white stripes, under 21 got red with black stripes. So, if you were caught with either a cut band, or no band, you were tossed out. Nearly flawless system they had there.

Cause the kids wanna be EDGY and drink as much as they can before it's legal for them to drink. Not to mention the internet generation sucks. When they're not spending time on the net, they're hanging out at a friends while drinking and talking about the internet. Or partying... which gets boring after HS. What ever happened to going to the movies, playing sports, going on road trips? :(

There's the reason for the flaming ladies and gentlemen, too many kids think the point of alcohol is getting smashed, and that tends to piss people off. It's a social thing, it's not about getting so out of your face you forget your own name, that doesn't make you cool, it makes you a fucking immature moron.

DJ-Keen, I've gathered you weren't there for the sake of drinking, that wasn't directed at you.

I don't want to be caught by the cops for anything. I don't care what it is, I don't want to have cops around for any purpose except if I'm in trouble. It might sound like ingratitude and selfishness, but from a pragmatic standpoint, no one wants to be caught doing anything. Even if it just means a slap on the wrist, it's embarassing.

If he's 20, you can't argue for the drinking age because there's no real practical reason to stop him from doing it other than it's the law. I mean, if there's a 20 year old decent person (not assuming anything about the OP) or a 35-year-old alcoholic who beats his wife, who needs to limit his booze intake more?

I get your point. He did something illegal and he's complaining about it. It's just the other inferences that bother me, e.g., assuming he's the kind of person who'll end up drinking his way into a car accident. It might happen but you don't really know for sure.

Nope, never had to outrun the cops. I would hope that you realize that if you had gotten caught it would have been much worse than getting a simple drinking ticket. You did a really stupid thing tonight and I'd hope that you don't do it again. I suggest just waiting until you're 21 before drinking in a bar next time. There really is no rush to become of age.

You try being on probation for 6 years.
I have to check my windows every time I open uTorrent.

Right. I tried to get a point across without saying it out loud, hoping that someone could infer it, but I was probably too vague.

At the age of 20, lots of people do stupid things without really thinking. Always once more, and you never know when you might slip.

I like drinking. Wine every few nights, or hard liquor when I feel like getting hung over the next day.
I don't do it because I feel the need to fit in with every other wasted patron of a party, or the thrill of realizing I'm bending a law, I do it for the taste.

We both know what he's doing it for.

Even less of a reason to end up in court. Who wants to have a criminal record on file?

Right. I tried to get a point across without saying it out loud, hoping that someone could infer it, but I was probably too vague. At the age of 20, lots of people do stupid things without really thinking. Always once more, and you never know when you might slip.

Same at any age that you can be responsible for your own actions. The law assumes you're less likely to do that if you're over 21, which is some kind of magical age or something.

I drink anything I can get my hands on. Preferably hard liquor so I can get drunk and forget all about it. I do it because I have no social life, no friends, and my life has been relatively comfortable yet emotionally lacking. It feels good for the next couple of hours and it puts me to sleep reasonably fast.

We both know what he's doing it for.
Better safe than sorry.

I agree with you on that. I don't think it's a matter of, in a typical insecure kid case, impressing friends, but just going out. Hell, if I had the chance to I would get out and drink because I'm a lot more loosened up when I'm slightly intoxicated. Which is what I do sometimes but I never let anyone on, and no one realizes it.
