Then I dropped it on the ground and it was covered in dirt. So I threw it in the woods and my mom shit a brick and said, "Stop Wasting food!" "Go rinse it off!" So I said, "It's to late." and she said, "Why?" "Did you throw it in the woods?" So I said, "Yeah."So she got all pissed cause I threw an uneatable apple in the woods. I hate it when people think that you can fix something, when you can't.

Well If she bought the apple and you threw it, she has a right to be angry.
If the skin is still on it, you could just wash it off, or even peel it.
