Well before I could answer such a question, I would first have to inquire as to under what guide lines are we using for the words "better" and "person".

For you see, my better could be something totally different from my better.
You could think that getting an extra chicken Mcnugget (thats not a head) in your 10 nugget package would be better. While I on the other hand could see that as being totally detrimental, being as that I would be consuming a whole extra nuggets worth of terrible, icky fat and sodium. This could go a innumerable amount of different paths in terms as to what our personnel view of "better" is, but for the soul purpose of making things easier for this thread, we'll just say that we both share the same view and regard any other views as inferior.

But then comes the second issue.
Person.
What exactly is, a person?
again, I could go into how our views of what a person is are conflicting and provide an obscure reference to back it up, but thats not quite what I was aiming at when I first questioned the usage of "person".

I dont know what a person is.

And because of such, I have no way to judge or compare, to any extent, as to how I am bettering myself at being one. I could say that I am currently attending and partaking in school activities. But then I would have to admit that simply attending such can make one a better person, and I, unlike others, do not agree with that. I could also say that I didnt give any money to hobos as I walked through china town earlier this week, which some would say would make me a worse person. But I on the other hand might see it as giving a person in such a position an opportunity to maybe perhaps muster up some integrity and make a buck or two in some other fashion than begging.

This cycle of whats and what if's as to what a person is continues to swirl and stir within my head, constantly, and it never seems to end anywhere other then places I dont want to be.
