Well... I had pretty much started a flash project today. Was going to make it for school as I thought it would be cool as something additional in one of my assignments, so I got completely wrapped up in it and spent about 5 hours working on it. All of a sudden, Flash 8 stops working and it has completely deleted the file - all that hard work gone.

However, I still have a recent .swf file of when I tested it last, but I have no .fla file. Could somebody please help me out here, is there a way I can restore it just by having the .swf file? I need this urgently...

yea, you could always decompile the swf into a generic fla. You will lose all of your labels and symbol names, but at least you will be able to continue work on your project.. if you need help with this, send me a PM.
