I don't know whether that's related to my problem, but it seems quite likely. My problem is that when I try to test the movie, Flash locks up at the "exporting flash movie" window. The progress bar never moves, and the mouse flickers very quickly between the cursor and the little thinking spiral wheel thing. I can't do anything in Flash, and the only way to get it out of its little dream world is to shut it down via task manager. This has happened SIX TIMES so far today.
Any ideas on what's causing this, or how I can stop it? screencap below
I had something (sort of) similar to that once with this movie. The thing got about half-way through exporting before just stopping. I also couldn't do anything in Flash while this happened, and had to end its task via Task Manager.
The only way I could fix it was copy each little segment of the movie into a new document and export it until it froze. The last copy-and-pasted section before it froze was where the problem could be. It turns out that a shape was corrupted, so I redid that section.
What does that mean for you? I don't know, because it could be a different problem entirely, and it's a pain in the buttocks to fix. All I can offer is, think of the last section you finished before this problem started happening, and hunt through each symbol and drawing you did after it.
