Just more proof that anyone who doesn't study in hard sciences is usually prone to be a retard no matter his level or place of education.
A lot of people who excel in math and science are socially retarded. I'm not saying this out of spite or anything, my friend is doing an advanced science degree and yes, he's a little bit quirky himself.
Journalism, law, arts, education, philosophy, history etc.
All those people always seem to be the ones who are completely detached from reality, who have big ideas and no clue how to verify them. They love to crusade thinking a fucking BA in journalism at Harvard makes them a genius.
I disagree. People who study law and Journalism seem to be very in tune with reality. More so than persons who study sciences. That's why there are people who study law that end up working in politics and the student journalist studies it because he's interested in journalism which entails being informed of current affairs and at least being cultured. Scientists have their opinions but mostly, their talent lies within their mathematical abilities/ observational talents rather than their worldly knowledge or sociability. If anything it's scientists who are 'detached from reality' constantly immersing themselves in their work and it's often the science student that is timid and introverted. Though yes, I won't dispute that I myself am dumbfounded at what they're capable of.
