Where are most of the moderators gone?

I`ve seen in the FAQ and on the bottom of the moderators part that some of them have gone?

Whats happened to them?

From time to time, Newgrounds has a change of personnel in the Mod teams. All mods are only voluntary, having been offered the position by the admins, who actually work for Newgrounds.

Some mods have been de-modded over time, due to poor decisions (either by themselves or by the admins, but let's not go into that :P), a lack of free time to moderate the forums, or just generally growing apart from the site.

They come, they go, but the site remains. It's nothing drastic.

In addition to what Coop rightly said, Wade recently did some 'House cleaning' with the mod team; demodding most (if not all of) the inactive ones and making a few new replacements.
