My grandmother is 94 years old (she's very lucky). She lives in an apartment complex and each apartment has a little deck for them to put chairs out or a picnic table for there enjoyment. Well now there's this new policy in the complex making everybody get all there stuff off there deck because if there is a fire, somehow a plastic chair will be in the way. My grandma chained up her chair to the deck because she thought it was a stupid idea (everyone did, but nobody else did this to fight them). So they told my 94 year old grandmother that she better move her stuff out every afternoon or they'll evict her from the complex.
It makes me sick how they treat a woman who is probably inches till death like this. My grandma kept her chairs and wrote a note to the people asking if she can please just put her things to the side. They declined her so now they're taking this woman to court because she wants to have a plastic chair with a small table for her own enjoyment. Every day she sees these dogs in the backyard behind her complex. She always gives them treats and sees them everyday because other than family she has nobody else. So they make her take out her table and chairs every night in case of a fire...yet there is a patch of roots that she can trip on right from her deck that they're refusing to remove because it's too much work.
I feel so bad for my grandmother.
