If you guys had to choose, would you either burn an American flag or your video game console?

the flag, duh. Symbolism doesn't mean jack shit if there's no actual meaning behind you doing it. Burning a Video Game console is just a waste of good money.

I would never burn a flag because of patriotic people. If I was to get an American flag, a high quality camera and some burning stuff like a lighter and some lighter fluid. Film me burning the flag. It'll have to be clear.

Then post it to youtube. Now this is not an exaggeration. I would get many comments that are mostly death threats and insults. The video would be deleted and my account would be banned. Not sure how bans work over there but it wouldn't be a huge ban. Then the American authorities come a knockin'.

Yes, unless it touches the ground or it has become tattered while on it's post. Your then allowed to lower it and burn it once it's folded correctly.
