Ever feel like you have the mind for that bigger picture stuff, but can't find a way to actually prove it in your output at work, school, etc?
Well, I've put some thought into it, and it's come across me that the majority of people that actually follow things by the book, rarely get what they want.. they always end up under someone, living in their shadow, wishing for much more, but afraid to go after it.
I've never understood this though.. why don't too many people take risks anymore and go after what they really want, even if it's something based on a split-second thought?
I've done it many times and look how things ended up for me, I have a better outlook on life, a great job, and I even graduated valedictorian of my class, leaving me with scholarships for when I go back to college.
Next semester is when I intend on leaving for college permanently, I graduated last June, but was previously in college due to a special program for honor students.
So, have you taken the time to think about a bigger outlook on things, or gone after other things in life, or do you see these thoughts as not worth it, due to the risk that also comes along with it?
Personally, I'll go against the latter, doing my own thing, taking risks, not necessarily hoping for the best, but putting my all into the things I hope to accomplish. <3
