How do you make a flash game/movie?

I'm really confused. Lost... Stranded even! I know nothing about the makings of the games... HELP ME PLEASE!

Well first your gonna have to take a tutorial or something that comes with flash, i personally didnt but thats why my cartoons suck =P

yea a turtoral.
but let me make a short version just for you :P
first go here
you will find preloaders a shit that you can use.
but it you wanna make a movie open flash.
then download the preloader from newgrounds website.
then open the preloader and copy the first fram into a new project.
now you should have a preloader done.
now make your movie.
a flash movie is made by frams (steps if you want) so you have to draw each movement like if you want a guy to punch someone you will have to make the arm stop a bit infront the person who gets hit and then make a new fram where the hand goes closer to the guys face.
now when your done with your movie go to the program thing on your flash program and find the stop button.
now you should have a movie.

Even I didnt even understand what you said.

Just goto www.macromedia.com and download Flash MX (or flash 5, but I prefer MX) and then once you open the program goto Help>Lessons or tutorials and if you're really serious about learning flash then buy a book for beginners (I bought Flash MX for Dummies when I was a n00b and it helped) and goto www.actionscript.com

Tips when making a movie:

TAKE YOUR TIME!, If you rush on your movie, it will suck and be blammed.

DONT DO ANYTHING THAT ISNT TOO HARD!, You're a n00b and you should'nt start making awesome movies like Alien Hominid or else you will be really frustrated and never want to work on flash again, but DO NOT make stick movies.

EXPLORE YOUR PROGRAM, get to know all the functions and properties each tool in your flash program has.

FIGURE OUT YOURSELF BEFORE YOU ASK, If you have a question, chances are 50/50 it's already been asked. If you have a question try to solve it yourself and if you still cant figure out you can use the NG BBS Search, and then if no results come out ask the people on the Flash forum.

Wots wrong with sticks, if he is a n00b then the best thing for him to do, is practice with sticks, there easier to use, plus the movments aren't so complicated so that it looks like real people, i.e. anime

i think first you should get used to flashmx or whatever flash program your using... then start learning how to draw.. then start learning how to animate, and so on.. (if you need help on how to motion tween goto my site http://wanabee.tk (which has only 1 tutorial but working on more animated tutorials..) u can also goto http://www.flashkit.com (which has millions of tutorials, but sometimes complicated for some people.. for some reason)
