If an artist made one sprite film?

Would you lose respect for an artist if they made just one sprite movie? Even if they made that movie a while ago? Or do you like a flash movie despite if it was hand animated or used sprites?

Writing a good story for the movie DOES take effort/talent. If it's a sprite movie with a shitty plot, however, then it will suck. If it's a hand-drawn movie with a shitty plot, it's still going to suck.

Nope. I may have no respect for sprite flashes, but everyone has to start somewheres. Also, theres nothing wrong with expirimenting. For instance, Blordow used to be a sprite animator, but now he is not.

I don't know POX. Sure you can say that it takes far less talent than a hand animated movie. But they do take effort to make even if it is very little in some cases.

If more artist did actually do that we would have variety. We would also have a less pixelated appearance when we see close ups. I've never seen one movie though where an artist custom created every sprite. Not saying they don't exist but I've never seen one.
