I was thinking about buying an Alienware PC, considering that I wont have to go through all the fuss of putting every component in by hand, although I've been hearing that Alienware PCs are shit, so what do you think?
"Personal foul! What do you think you're doing? This is suppose to be a friendly game, you asshole!"

Build a PC.
It's worth all the fuss because you won't be paying extra and you'll be getting the components that you want.

Even if you were gonna buy a PC alienware is one of the most over priced choices you could possibly choose. Build your own. It's easy as hell. PM me if you need help.

Personally I would just either make or buy a $500 computer in like 7 years.
By then, even the low end parts can run Battlefield 2 and Crysis in pretty good settings.

Seriously? Alienware PC's aren't bad- except for the fact that they are as overpriced as Apple.
I bet I can create a computer that's just as good as Alienware, and make it like half the price.
Custom built computers are the way to go man. And even if you can't do it yourself, spend that extra 50 bucks and let somebody else make it for you. It will still save you more money than stock PC's.

Neither. Stock and Alienware suck. Well, actually Alienware doesn't suck, but it's overpriced as hell. Just find a PC store that will build you a computer. This way you'll save a lot of cash.

Well, this of course depends on what kind of computer parts you bought. There are cases of stock computers being less expensive than home built computers.

Build your own. Seriously, assembling a computer, especially nowadays with the lack of IDE cables out the ass, are incredibly simple. You can buy just the right parts to fit your needs, and it will ALWAYS be cheaper than stock.
For example, building a fairly decent rig can be had for $1200

No wayz. There is no cheap stock computer, unless the shop is selling under the normal price.

Haha, seriously though, where I live, probably on the other side of the planet for you, we have some cases where that happens. Well, maybe not cheaper, but no more than a 30 euro difference.
