So, NG i am a really fat lazy kid and i honestly cant do pull ups. I want just the best way to work on the muscles you use when doing a pull up. And i cant do 1 at all, so just practicing it woulnt work. I need to be able to do these in a week wich i know i woulnt be able to do but it would be good to be able to do 1 at all soon.

Try doing sets of push ups on a regular basis. Push ups are much easier than pull ups so you should be able to do at least a couple. For awhile I was doing a set of 35 push ups during every commercial break while watching TV. During that period I was the healthiest/fittest I had ever been in my life. You probably can't do 35 now, but keep at it. Over time you will become better.

You might as well just give up on the whole exercise thing. It's a waste of time really. You know that in twelve months you'll be back to slothing around eating pudding pops and cheetos or whatever it is you over weight types do.

Seein how you can even do a simple pull up I suggest you have a friend get you back into shape. Honestly man not being able to do a pull up? That's sadder the being incapable of doing a push up.

Although I really don't see how it's possible to not be able to do one, just try doing push ups regularly until you can.

Start off with pushups, just do whatever you can. Slowly work your way up. Eventually when you can do maybe 20 or so pushups you should be able to do several pullups.
