I would give moderators a few new toys, such as the ability to merge threads. I would also like to see them given the power to move threads which could be considered forum specific. IE: Moving video game threads to the video game forum, forcing people to learn how to post in the correct forums. I would attach a "3 strikes your out counter" meaning if a mod has to move one of your threads into the correct forum three times you're banned for seven days, which is mandatory. Every time you PM them bitching and complaining an extra three days is added, once you get to thirty days an extra 30 is added to each additional bitching.

There's one more feature I wont discuss, yes it's a moderation tool. I just can't say because I don't want to leak too much information out to the public.
