I havent been to a GameStop in a while, probably not since they bought out EB Games and excessively tried ramming the reservation stick up my ass. It's just an evil place, and then I came across this 90 minute series of videos of an ex employee who goes into detail about the policies and the scams that GameStop pulls on it's employees and it's customers.

A friend of mine told me a story about how he and another friend of his called a gamestop they were standing outside of. While looking at the employee who answered the phone, he asked if they had Guitar Hero III available. Then the employee replied that they were sold out.

However, after that cellphone call, they both entered and asked the SAME guy if they had Guitar Hero III.

They did have it.

The same shit happens to me every time I go there for a game that just came out.

All I can say about GS is that everytime I reserve a game, they give me the date it's coming out & not the release date that they plan to release it.

I also can't stand how they talk down to me because I am a female gamer & they try to point me out to cute girly games.

I happen to go to GameStop every month or so, whether it be to trade in old crappy games that I can't even remember buying, let alone playing, then getting about $2 in store credit or to build my PS3 collection, although it's usually the latter. And yes, they're evil, but hey, they're my only local game store.
