i tried to crop em and the quality was terrible so ill have to figure something out, does anyone have any suggestions for a free drawing program?

Just use paint, its pretty simple, but sometimes it ruins your quality, so download gimp or paint.net

I think the eyes might be a bit too high on the head, but this picture made me believe in your thread. None of your other pictures look very promising at all

Well, ideally there wouldn't be that nearly foot of space between the bottom of his nose and the top of his upper lip.

As stated before, the eyes are too high on the head. A bigger problem, however, is that the space between the lips and nose is way too big. It should be little more than the dimple bit.
