Admin Power?

Do all admin automatically have the powers of all mods?

By that, I mean, can they, by default:

Delete reviews?
Lock and delete BBS threads?
Approve audio?

Or does it vary from admin to admin? I wouldn't think that they could all approve audio, since that requires some level of audio experience...

As far as i'm concerned, all the admins work in the same building and they run the site together. It's not like they don't all know each other very well. They don't really have all that much time to do small work like accept audio submissions, so they get the help from moderators. They're doing a fine job running the site so far :D

Yes they do but as STEM said..they dont have time to so thats why we have mods

I suppose that they can do everything a mod can, and more. However, they are too busy running the site to spend time deleting reviews, accepting audio, etc, that's why there are mods (for example, before, Wade had to delete the reviews manually).

They just rely certain activities on moderators, so they can do more important things like keep the site running. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that what mods do is not important, there are just things that are even more important.

Yeah, I know what you mean, it would sorta make mods pointless if the admins did it all. Thanks everyone who helped.

If your trying to hint to the fact that you want to be a Admin/Mod then you might as well forget about it cause you just blew your chances if a Mod thinks the same way I just did right now!

I was in no way trying to hint to that. I don't think I could handle myself as a mod, I'd just lock anything I could see probably...

Might be with the recent purging of the mods that people are looking around at others with suspicion that they're trying to cock suck their way to the 'top'. Then again, most questions about the mods or their powers are met with that comment so it could just be another one of those. Oh well.

All the admins are review mods and BBS mods.
And I imagine all are icon mods as well, though not sure 100%.

Only ones I know have control of the flash portal are tom, bob, wade, liljim.
And not sure who outside of Tom has control of the audio portal, but again, I imagine all are audio mods.
