What aspects of the game?
Me:
Ocarina Of Time: Forest Temple, what do you get when you combine howling dead wolfos, eery music and some of the darkest and most eery graphics of the 90's? That fucking temple....
I really don't know why, but in SM64 I used to get scared from hearing bowser's laugh. I was 3 though.
Resident Evil and SIlent Hill..

I wasn´t scared of games as a kid, altough i was afraid of lots of things games weren´t one of them.
I was always scared to play Turok for the N64 when I was a kid.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Same here. I was scared of going underwater until I was 9.
I feel so silly now.
Only video game that ever scared me was the basement in SuperMario 64... with the ghosts and shit...
My dad had to do that ghost level :P
Which didn't really matter since he loved the game!
He only likes two games: Pong, and super mario 64...
I have never seen him enjoy any other game....
My mom loves pac-man though :P

Bowsers laugh was a bit odd to.
game over screen from original Banjo-Kazooie

That scared me too. I love that game though. Also, the last level in DK64. Another great game.
In Ocarina of time, I never had the guts to go back to the Great Deku Tree after it died (OMG SPOILAH)
so my (younger) brother had to help me with the skulltulas and shit
I still refuse to go to that wretched place
Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and that's it.
this kid my mum used to look after after school was scared when i used to play doom on the ps1.. so i couldn't play it while he was round..
hello
Oh yeah, I was scared of the things inside the deku tree when I was younger too. It's why I never completed it back then.
nightmare creatures.
seriously, i was playing that game when i was like 7 and it was the scariest shit ever.
Don't laugh at me, but...
-The Blue Sphere special stage in S3&K freaked me out for some reason
-The Moblins/Moriblins in Ocarina of Time's Sacred Forest Meadow
-Going underwater in 3D games
Those are the big ones I can think of for now, though I'm not afraid of anything video game-related anymore. ;p

Same here. Also, when I watched my brother play resident evil. Gave me nightmares for I don't know how long. I was 3 in both cases.
Schwang-wang-wang
Shadowgate (I know what you are thinking....."what the hell is that?")
It was a freaky poinbt and click game for the NES, I think it might have been on other systems, I don't know what they were though, sometimes you would open things and they would kill you, you open the wrong door and it openes a dimension that pulls you in, you answer the wrong question and you are ripped to shreds...everytime you die you are meeted with the reapers face...scary
well I was 9.
It still makes me jump sometimes, cause when I go back to play it, I have forgotten a lot of the traps LOL
SMB3 (the hills have eyes THEY DO)

What about the shadow temple? Wooooo.... and bongo bongo... creepy stuff, invisible walls.

THAT FUCKING EEL IN SM64.
Also, I was scared to go into bowser's room in the original SMB (I didn't know about the axe).
I hated that dragon thing.
Holy crap. Also.
Recently, in LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, I wasn't good enough to defeat bellum. It gave me nightmares. As I was driving home one day, I resolved to beat it. It took me hours.
SHARING IS FUN.

Oh god, I totally forgot to mention that boss in SMB3 with the spiked back.
I didn't know how to beat him, and he scared me so much.
I swear I saw him walk out of my closet door one night, I was so boinking scared I peed the bed.
Fucking Ocarina of Time Shadow Temple. Random piles of dead bodies, guillotines, the wallclingers, invisible walls, instant death traps, creepy music, and blood stains everywhere.

The Well part in Legend of Zelda OoT.
And the Alien Invasion part in Zelda MM.
I recall actually having nightmares about it.

any reason for this?
hello
Resident Evil. My father played it on full volume at night, and when he went to bed, I picked it up and played it, and proceeded the have many nightmares that night afterwards.
