School clubs you're in...

In the first week alone, did you join any clubs that were supported by the school, if any? For example, a chess club or something. And for others that had school early, same goes.

Since last year, I've been in a Video Game club in which someone brings in a Wii, or an Xbox 360, and we play for the majority of Lunch time. Yes, we have only 50 minutes of it, but we make good of it.

Or the Anime club, where we watch said shows with English dubs, some people read graphic novels, etc.

So, back to my question. Have you thought of joining a school club? Or are you in one?

That's cool. No means to brag, but I'm the "Co-Leader" of the said VG Forum. It's actually pretty cool on days when we have short classes for events that are held within the school, and we have a bunch.

Im in this club called "GEOPAWSEA"
its stands for something but idk what..
its just some recycling club we go around during our study hall Aka Tutroial(about 30-35min)
and pick up the recycling from the classrooms.

None, but in another week I get to go to some fair during lunch that has all thye clubs in the school there so that you can sign up for any one.

Nah, I have plenty of friends, but I'm getting a "real" job very soon, so that would interfere with it. So, no point in joining something, then quitting a month later. Pointless, and you can't put it on your transcript.

Oh, lol, we're trying to start a videogame club, with the PE teacher, and one of the ESL teachers.
We played Xbox on the days it got way too hot to do anything outside.
So we're gonna try to make it official.

You know, despite all the Merits of being in a Club, it just never appeals to me. Not even the History or Video Game Club.

Sometimes, a club has its downfall. Like if a ton of people join, or if most of them won't just shut the hell up, and act like the "hooligans" they are; it's very distracting when one person's trying to choose a character on Brawl (this a VG club moment BTW), and the other guy's pressing buttons and some shit, or accidentally steps on the power cord.

A video game club and an anime club, I find it hard to believe that your school would have those. Arn't clubs supposed to have some form of educational value, not just a place for people to hang out?

I wouldn't join any clubs at my school, most of the clubs are uninteresting and I'd rather be hanging outside of school with friends or be at home.
