duno how that works out at the exchange rate around the world, but the quality of the weed we get in manchester is very splendid. The only peice of advice I'd give to a struggling stoner is to buy in bulk so you get more for your money, and maybe to 'put in' with other stoners so you all pay less. I mean, hardly any people pick up and just smoke the whole lot to themselves, it's a social thing, so in my opinion it's best if everyone pays equally and smokes together.
This is all coming from an ex smoker who doesnt mess in drugs anymore but doesnt give a gay rats arse if other people want to, it's their choice (:

We got a bit the same here...but instead of pounds..We gotz euros : D So it's pretty cheap here compared to your smelly country. xD

And well...The quality here is Amsterdam (or just a shop in general...It's where I get my weed, don't live in Holland though)

And that advice for a strugeling stoner...Really depends on what kind of smoker you are...You got like the really heavy ones, and get around with a dime bag all for themselfs...And you have the occasional smoker..Once a week thing.
The heavy ones really watch their money, and go all like "yeh...But I paid that much..That equals that much weed as my part" etc.
The others...Well...They just smoke it all in one night etc.

But dude...Yes, smoking a social thing...But in the long run, it can really lock you up.

I got money from time to time, and enough stoner buddies who like to share it etc ^^ I don't care about my part, but I still like to smoke everyday. I'm still social while smoking etc, and smoke alot at parties (and drink..But that's not the topic eh.)

Are you in Washington? I'm in Portland, and the prices sound about right.

Sure we've been paying 20 for 1.7g for a few years, but if you move out of retail purchases you can get alright O'z for like 200. Then turn that into 320, or smoke 3 eighths :P For the good stuff it might be 280, though you only get 40 free then :(
