Talk about being ironic on perpose.

Anyway, the only reason I actually whatch those election things is to see some possable assassinations, or a riot. So, in short, I never really payed attention to what she said.

Anything to add to that? Ad hominem attacks are in poor form when there's a lot to address in a legitimate fashion.

She's pretty consistent and has some deep running values that she obviously believes in. Now for the fun part: this is being touted as an admirable trait - to pray to God that we are doing the right thing by going to war. The same trait is held by those we are fighting against - it can also be argued that they pray to the same God. It's all a bit too Crusade-y for my liking, especially after Bush's 'gaffes' that invoke Crusade type rhetoric.

Another thing I don't like is her advocacy in overturning Roe v. Wade.

The fact that her husband belongs to, and she gives video speeches for, a party that advocates the secession of Alaska from the U.S. Now, they will try to tell you that the party is about states rights, but it is not. If you cared so much about that particular right (as Vermont did) you would make sure the bit about secession is in your state constitution hurrrrr.

I also don't like that she doesn't know when the Pledge of Allegiance was written or that 'Under God' was added 50 some years later. Good enough for the Founding Fathers, indeed.

That's enough for now, I'd hate to freak everyone out with wall of text but holy shit.

also, violence in iraq is also down.

Thousands of civilians have died because of this war, be it from terrorism, American military accidents, lack of food, illness, poverty, etc.

yeah, its called war, those things happen in wars.

war is always an awful thing.

You can't say that he was pure evil.

yes i can, everything and anything good he ever did was to benifit himself.

Yeah, we stayed in a place we should have never went to in the first place, costing absurd amounts of money, time, and manpower.

we've been over this, we went in because we thought there was a suffient threat.

That's just fucking stupid. There was a chance that Russia was going to Nuke us for decades, but we never had to resort to invading.

thats because they already definitly had nukes, that was a cold war and it was a horible thing.

thats one of the reasons we invaded, to avoid another cold war.

There's a chance I'll win the lottery tomorrow. There's a chance that I will get cysts under both of my nipples by next month. It doesn't mean it's going to happen.

yeah, but iraq having a nuke was more likely then all those things, and a bigger risk too.

Yeah, but that doesn't justify the whole.

its not supposed too.

Which was being prepared to be carried out before the war, until we decided to rush in headfirst like morons.

if they had nukes, they would have used them while we were carrying out the investigation.

that would have left us wide open.

That's fucking absurd.

yeah, because it was a joke.

also, just because your military is deep pushed back, doesn't mean you can't build a nuke that will hit your enemy.

but several other countries have the capability to do the same.

things have become a stronger political issue, things have become tighter and harder.

otherwise, iran would probebly be invaded by now.

Saddam was toppled in a few moths, yes. However, we continued to fight. Just because we're not fighting the enemy we thought we would be doesn't mean that we're not at war.

it does mean we're protecting civilians from terrorists.

Some people see politics just as a "sports game".

So much bad news about Sarah Palin. I'm losing faith in the republican party, especially after John McCain's anger at CNN and refusing to do an interview for a seemingly "appropriate" interview.

God dang it republicans, try actually criticizing the policies of Obama instead of his character. Try to do things correctly for once.

In the beginning I was intrigued by John McCain. Now I am so disappointed at his actions and his party's actions also.

Oh well, on with the debates. I still haven't lost all hope for the Republican party.

I thought he dropped out. Well, in any case, I support both him and Bob Barr, the latter less so. McCain goes against abortion and wants to stay in Iraq. Obama wants to take our guns away, ban violent video games(from what I've heard, I could be wrong), and is all-in-all promising much more than one can deliever. They're both douchebags. I'm a little iffy about Bob Barr too, but he still seems worlds better than the other two. If Ron Paul is infact still running, then I support him above all.

To add on to what he is saying, Saddam had made troops murder quite a bit of innocent civilians in Iraq before the invasion.

and civilians didn't ahev to worry about terrorists and American soldiers.
you talk about our troops as if they go around randomly killing people.

One problem to your statement is that you don't have anything to back you up with. Sure it is down NOW, but I don't recall seeing any violence between over there from 1991-2002.

More research should've been applied before invading though.

Considering that we are in the Middle East AND 9/11 happened not too long ago. That would be a good idea to stay because of an uncontrolled government.

I always did love your walls of text, mostly because of their accuracy and to the pointedness (I hereby deem that pointedness is a word).

But yeah, seperation of church and state for a reason and think that should apply to policy as well, which she seems incapable of doing.

EXACTLY

We not only chose to go to war, but we chose to invade prematurely, ill-equipped, shortsightedly. and against the wishes of most of the global community.

NOW FUCKING LOOK WHAT HAPPENS

THOUSANDS DEAD

BILLIONS OF DOLLARS LOST

And for what? A "chance" of a nuke. A "maybe". A "perhaps". A "hunch".

This war will forever be remembered by historians as a disaster in U.S. military and political history.

Amen.

Even with the success of this new Iraqi government, that would only cause more problems, such as Israel. Because the U.S supported Israel, now the Arabs have more of a reason to hate the west, and there is more violence and instability in the region. Imagine what Iran and the other countries would do if Iraq turned into a democracy. More violence and hate against the U.S.

This is a lose lose situation in my view. The war in Afghanistan seems like the real fight against terror, not this useless war in Iraq.

Sir, I don't think you are taking this seriously enough. Even at the slightest chance of them containing a biological weapon of mass desruction capable of destroying a city is a serious matter. Hell, I'd invade Chile on a hunch that chinchillas were attempting to destabilize the Christian fundamentals of our democratic freedom without batting an eye; and I'd suppress those chinchillas until they knew that when I said I was going to bring them to justice and democracy, they'd know I'd do it. And I wouldn't be wishy washy and through around the term victory for the sake of an election. Those chinchillas have to know, that you can't use God as an excuse for violence. God bless our cause, God bless America, and God bless our leaders and their decisions as passed down from Jesus Christ himself. Amen!
